What to Wear - What to Bring • Modest, comfortable dance wear for active movement during all classes (something cool) & something warm (a sweat shirt or sweater). • Appropriate cover-ups to and from dance area. • Praise dance dresses, costumes, skirts, or pants for Friday afternoon and evening worship services (as well as Sunday morning - should you decide to stay over). • There will be beautiful worship dance wear for sale during the workshop breaks. • Bare feet, ballet slippers or jazz shoes are fine for the classes. Ballet/jazz shoes or some kind of slippers may be appropriate for worship services. • Tennis shoes may be good to have to travel through the huge church building. • Water bottle with tightly fitted lid. No other type of beverages allowed in the dance area. • Money for food and drinks that will be sold (during breakfast & lunch) by the youth, since restaurants are quite a distance. (YOU MUST DESIGNATE ON YOUR PRE-REGISTRATION THAT YOU WISH TO PURCHASE THESE FOOD ITEMS!) • For concert participation, please make sure that the following items are CLEARLY MARKED on your cassette or CD: Your name; Name of song; Side of tape; # of song; or CD# • A heart of worship • Your friends • A smile!! The Lord showed me a dance to an awesomely anointed, & very familiar song. We will leam it on Saturday and if all goes well, those who want to participate, will present it during the Saturday evening concert. If you are interested, please be sure to bring: • A white, long sleeve leotard or cotton knit long sleeve shirt to wear under your (preferably white) dance outfit (to wear Sat. evening). • Also, for this dance, please bring 3 scarfs or pieces of "flowy" material (silk essence works well - 1-red, 1-yellow, & 1-white). They need to be about 21 inches long by 18 inches wide (or 1/2 Yd.). If your whole team is coming and you want to do this dance later at your church, it may be good for a team representative to get enough material for everyone so all will be alike. • Please feel free to bring flags banners worship cloths streamers tambourines other worship implements... There is plenty of room to experiment and express! ( See photo at top of this page. This will be the sanctuary where will will dance!)
